As an official exhibition pavillion in The Wrong Biennale 7th Edition, Negotiated Intelligence explores the dynamic interplay between human creativity and AI collaboration. We invite creative practitioners working with AI to submit detailed documentation of their co-creation processes. Through these submissions, we aim to "archaeologically" excavate and interpret the power dynamics inherent in human-AI creative partnerships. Your contributions will help shape a critical, interactive website that maps out the negotiation of agency, intentionality, and emergent hybridity in AI-assisted creative work.


Submission Guidelines

To participate, submit the following artifacts documenting your human-AI co-creation process for any creative work:

  1. Human Creator Ledger,  containing:
    • Your pre-AI concept (e.g., dated sketches, writings, or prototypes) .
    • Records of your deliberate artistic decisions that overrode or refined AI outputs.
    • Your post-AI transformative work (e.g., manual editing, recontextualization, or reinterpretation of AI-generated elements).
  2. AI Co-Creator Profile,  including:
    • Detail the AI models you selected.
    • Identify moments of "creative divergence" (unpredictable AI outputs that influenced your artistic trajectory).
    • A brief analysis of AI-generated elements and their significance in your final piece.
  3. Synthesis Process
    • Highlight moments where AI introduced unexpected or non-deterministic elements that enriched your creative process.
    • Reflect on the constraints or limitations of the AI model that required human intervention.

Note: The selection process will prioritize meaningful documentation of your creative process over a polished final piece.
Submissions should demonstrate both human agency as the driving force and AI as a collaborative partner.



Exhibition Website

After the submission deadline, the Negotiated Intelligence curatorial team will create a dedicated website presenting your materials through a critical, interactive interface. The website will feature a three-column chronology with power analytics for each creative process:
  • Human Intentions: Your pre-AI creative groundwork, original concepts, sketches, and mood boards.
  • Negotiation Arena: Documentation of the iterative exchanges between the artist and AI.
  • Emergent Hybridity: The final piece, reflecting the synthesis of human and AI contributions.
